LCD – All Recipes, Salad Dressing
1 raw beetroot washed with skin removed and grated
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup purified water
Juice of 2 lemons freshly squeezed
2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons tamari (or soy sauce or gluten free soy sauce*)
1 garlic clove minced
1 tablespoon cold pressed olive oil
2 heaped tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
1 pinch cayenne pepper
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch sea salt
(GF*, DF, NF, V)
Place all ingredients, except the basil, in a blender and process.
Prior to serving, add herbs and mix in well.
